Advise custom home builder in the documentation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for the construction of a 22,000 sq. ft. custom home, including land conveyance with seller financing, extended design phase, and construction contract
Counsel national home builder in documenting and improving subcontractor and supplier relationships and developing subcontractor safety policies in light of OSHA’s Multi-Employer Work-Site Policy
Participate in the defense and prosecution of claims under the Residential Construction Liability Act, including property inspections; selection and hiring of expert witnesses (e.g., structural engineers; surveyors; and flooring, HVAC, and water-penetration specialists); and the exchange of substantive written communications with insurers and opposing counsel
Advise subsidiary of multinational manufacturer in workout of factory construction contract
